Terms of Service
The terms for using IndexGrid.
These terms are an agreement between you and BD Interactive, the operator of IndexGrid. By using the service you agree to them, so please read them carefully.
Effective September 10, 2026
1. The service
IndexGrid analyzes the public content of a website you provide and uses artificial intelligence to produce a website readiness score, a written report, and optional downloadable files intended to help AI search tools understand your business. The service is offered in three parts:
- Free scan. An on‑screen report generated at no cost after you complete a robot check.
- Full report. A one‑time purchase of $19.99 that saves your report and unlocks downloadable files, currently an
llms.txtfile and an AI profile JSON file, along with guidance on installing them. Each full report includes 30 days of Monitor for the website you scanned. - Monitor subscription. An optional recurring subscription that periodically re‑analyzes a website, stores historical results, detects changes, provides dashboard insights, and may send reports or notifications by email. Features, scan frequency, and pricing are shown when you subscribe, currently $19/month per website.
Results may differ between scans because website content, third‑party systems, AI models, and IndexGrid's analysis methods may change over time.
2. How IndexGrid works
- You enter a website address and complete the robot check.
- Our crawler fetches publicly available content from that address, such as page titles, descriptions, headings, body text, existing structured data, and site files like
robots.txtandsitemap.xml. - An AI model, together with our own deterministic checks, analyzes that content and generates your score and report.
- If you purchase the full report, you provide an email address, pay securely through Stripe, and we generate your files.
- If you use Monitor, the same process repeats automatically on a schedule for each website you add, and the results are saved to your dashboard so they can be compared over time.
3. Accounts
Certain features, including the dashboard and Monitor, require an account. You sign in with a one‑time link sent to your email address; we do not use passwords.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including access to the email address you sign in with, and for all activity that occurs through your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it promptly when it changes.
You may not share account access in a way that circumvents plan limits or permits unauthorized access to the service.
We may suspend or disable an account that we reasonably believe has been compromised or is being used in violation of these terms, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you when we do.
4. Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the service.
You agree that you will not:
- Use the service to access non‑public content, circumvent authentication, evade technical access controls, or analyze a website for an unlawful or abusive purpose.
- Use the service to probe, attack, overload, or interfere with any website or with IndexGrid.
- Attempt to bypass the robot check, rate limits, plan limits, or payment requirements.
- Use automated tools to submit scans or extract reports at scale.
- Resell, sublicense, reproduce, or provide unauthorized access to IndexGrid itself, including by operating a substantially similar service using IndexGrid's systems or outputs.
- Use the service in violation of any applicable law.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service and any website you submit complies with applicable law and any contractual obligations that apply to you.
You may use reports and generated files in providing consulting, marketing, development, or other professional services to clients, subject to these terms.
We may suspend or block access to anyone who violates these rules.
5. AI‑generated content and scores
Reports, scores, recommendations, FAQs, schema suggestions, and generated files are produced by an AI model based on the content it can read from your website. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. You are responsible for reviewing everything before publishing it and for making sure it accurately describes your business.
AI‑generated content should not be relied upon as legal, financial, medical, regulatory, or other professional advice.
The website readiness score is an estimate meant to guide improvements. It is not an official rating from any search engine or AI provider, and we do not guarantee that using the service will change how any AI tool, search engine, or third party describes, ranks, or recommends your website.
Scores and recommendations may change as your website changes or as IndexGrid's crawling, analysis, scoring methods, or underlying AI systems evolve. A change in score does not necessarily mean that your website changed.
6. Free scans
Free scans are provided so you can evaluate the service. They are subject to the robot check and to rate limits, and the results are shown on screen rather than saved to an account unless you purchase the full report. We may change, limit, or withdraw free scans at any time.
7. Full reports
When you purchase the full report, your report is saved and your files are generated. They are available on your success page and can be re‑generated from your saved report.
Each full report includes 30 days of Monitor for the website you scanned at no additional charge. Included monitoring ends automatically after that period. It does not convert into a paid subscription and you will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe.
8. Monitor subscriptions
Monitor is an optional subscription that continues monitoring a website after the included period. It is billed on a recurring basis at the price and billing interval displayed when you subscribe, currently $19/month per website.
Monitor features currently include scheduled re‑analysis, score and category history, change detection, tracked recommendations, and optional email summaries. We may add, change, or remove features over time. If we materially reduce what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.
9. Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds
One‑time purchases. The full report is a one‑time purchase at the price shown at checkout, currently $19.99 USD. Prices may change, but changes will not affect purchases already made.
Subscriptions. Monitor is billed in advance on a recurring basis at the price and billing interval displayed when you subscribe. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to automatically charge your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period until you cancel.
Cancellation. You may cancel Monitor at any time from your dashboard settings, which opens our payment processor's billing portal, or by contacting us. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period and you keep access until then. Canceling prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically refund charges already paid.
Price changes. If we change the subscription price, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. Continuing your subscription after that date means you accept the new price.
Payments are processed by Stripe, and by paying you also agree to Stripe's terms. We never see or store your full payment card number.
Refunds. Because the full report is a digital product delivered immediately after payment, purchases are generally non‑refundable. Subscription charges for a billing period that has already started are likewise non‑refundable. If your files fail to generate, you were charged more than once, or you experience a technical problem we cannot resolve, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will issue a refund.
Failed payments. If a renewal charge fails, our payment processor may retry it, and we may pause Monitor until payment succeeds.
10. Monitoring and website access
If you use Monitor, you authorize IndexGrid to periodically access publicly available content from the websites you add to your account and to analyze that content without requiring you to manually initiate each scan.
Monitor may store scan results, scores, detected changes, recommendations, and related historical information so that results can be compared over time. This history remains available in your dashboard while your account is active. We may delete it after monitoring for a website has been inactive for an extended period or when your account is closed.
Monitoring frequency is not guaranteed unless specifically stated as part of your plan. Scans may be delayed or unavailable because of website outages, access restrictions, robots directives, rate limits, third‑party outages, or other technical conditions.
Our crawler fetches a limited number of pages at a modest rate and does not attempt to bypass access controls. If you no longer want a website monitored, cancel Monitor for that website or contact us and we will remove it.
11. Email notifications
If you enable email summaries, monitoring alerts, or similar notifications, you authorize IndexGrid to send service‑related emails concerning your account and monitored websites. You may disable optional monitoring emails through your account settings.
We will still send essential service emails, such as sign‑in links, receipts, and notices about your subscription or these terms, even if you turn off optional notifications. Marketing emails are separate from these service emails, are sent only with your consent, and always include a way to unsubscribe.
12. Your content and generated content
You keep all rights to your website and its content. By submitting a website, or adding it to Monitor, you give us permission to fetch, store, and process its public content for the purpose of providing the service.
Subject to these terms and applicable law, you may use, copy, modify, publish, and implement the reports, recommendations, and generated files IndexGrid provides for your use. To the extent BD Interactive holds intellectual property rights in those outputs, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, non‑exclusive license to exercise those rights.
Because outputs are generated by AI from public content, similar or identical outputs may be produced for other users, and we do not promise that your outputs are unique.
13. IndexGrid intellectual property
IndexGrid, including its software, design, branding, and scoring methodology, is owned by BD Interactive and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the service to you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the service without any obligation to you.
14. Third‑party services
IndexGrid relies on third‑party service providers for functions such as artificial intelligence, payments, hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, and security. These providers may include OpenAI, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, Resend, and others. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of those providers, and your use of their features may be subject to their own terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what information is shared with them.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error‑free, that any website will be successfully scanned, or that Monitor will detect every change to a website.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BD Interactive will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid BD Interactive during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim or (b) $50 USD.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BD Interactive from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your violation of these terms, your submission of a website you were not permitted to analyze, or your publication or use of generated content.
18. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for conduct that violates these terms or harms the service or others.
You may stop using the service or close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account cancels any active Monitor subscription at the end of the current billing period, and charges already paid are not refunded except as described above.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, will survive.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law principles.
Any legal proceeding relating to these terms must be brought in the state or federal courts located in the state and federal courts located in New Jersey, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. If a change materially affects Monitor subscribers, we will also notify you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
21. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@indexgrid.ai or submitted through our contact page. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
